We didn’t set out to build a large institution. We set out to build bridges — between babies and their families, between heartbreak and hope. Because every baby who comes through our doors has a story, and our calling is to help that story find its way back to family.

Our First Question Is Always “Why?”

When a baby is brought to Haven of Hope, we begin by learning why they were separated from family.

• Was it poverty?

• A young mother without support?

• A temporary crisis that felt impossible to overcome?

Whatever the reason, we see it not as the end of the story, but the beginning of restoration.

We don’t just ask, “Who will take this baby?”
We ask, “How can we help this family stay together?”

Sometimes that means helping a mother start a small business, or helping a family build a safe home. Other times it looks like counseling, parenting support, or walking alongside a grandmother raising her grandchild.

Each step is personal, intentional, and filled with hope — because the goal is never simply to provide care, but to make home possible again.

Rooted in God’s Design

This has always been God’s heart. From the very beginning, He designed family as the place where love grows, where identity forms, and where belonging begins. Every time a baby goes home, we see a glimpse of that design restored — a piece of God’s redemption story lived out right before our eyes.
