Too Close for Comfort

April began with a fire that came up from the forest and crater behind us. It encroached across the field, coming within 50 yards from our fence. Close enough to evacuate all the staff and BABIES! God is, indeed, our Protector.

Faith’s New Adventure

Sweet Faith went to her new home, Springs of Hope Kenya, where she can go to school and have big brothers and sisters to play with and learn from.

Nana arrived in April to spend a month with us. These girls were happy to have their Nana back.

Every year on Easter Monday, the staff bring their families to celebrate and enjoy time together. We love watching their kids grow.

Baby Krop is our 105th baby to welcome into our HOH family! He comes from the village in East Pokot that we work with. His mother died from malnutrition.

Yes, our babies are drinking from open cups before they are 12 months old. 🙂 Joseph is 10 months old this month.
