Welcome To His Cherished Ones

As most of you would know, our family has been through our fair share of changes in the past year! It has been quite a roller-coaster as we have joined as a family of four (plus three), combined ministries, traveled to America and back, and lead this beautiful ministry that God has entrusted us with. Through it all, God has been faithful and has blessed us abundantly more than we could ask or imagine. He continues to stretch and teach us as we grow closer as a family. These girls could not be more blessed to have such an amazing dad!
Since our family began quite unconventionally, we are learning to be intentional with our time. As we talk to those whom we minister to and teach them of the value of family and significance of our roles as parents, we are doing our best to seek the Lord in all we do as a family as well. Taking time to focus on our kids, to put away the “job” (which in this world of missionary ministry is a 24/7 kind of thing with very few boundaries between us and those we work and live with) and to invest in the moments that we and our children will cherish is a clear and undeniable goal for us. We are a ministry that’s all about family, and it starts with us.
So, as we share this ministry with you, we also share our family. Many of you have been simply amazing in showing your love and support for the Mroczko family. We are so grateful for you!

This month, our “Mroczko Moment” was celebrating Julia’s first half term of school with a surprise overnight trip for the girls! Julia started her first official (non-homeschool) school experience in April, joining a British International school for her last term of 4th grade, or Year 5 as it is called in the British system. We picked the girls up from school and took them to one of our favorite special occasion lunch spots. This time, after lunch we asked if we could have a tour of one of the the little bandas (cottage-type tents) and the pool area below. When we walked into the room, the girls were surprised to see their own bags, complete with swimsuits and beach towels laying out!

We had a most wonderful time as we spent that day and night and the following day together, just playing games, hiking, swimming, enjoying God’s creation, and telling stories, mostly Julia’s school stories. Ha!
We are so grateful that God allows us the privilege of being family, and the time to sneak away and spend a day together, away from our usual routine and enjoy being family.
