Strength. Grace. Courage. Faith. Perseverance.
These are words that I think of when I think of these beautiful ladies. Yes, “my” girls. Not in possession, but as a proud mama! One of my highlights of this life are witnessing the true life transformation that I have seen in some of these women. Through extreme hardship, suffering, and sometimes appealing life circumstances, I have seen these women rise in their faith and cling to the hope of Christ. I have seen them grow in their relationship with the Lord as well as in their relationships with each other.
And this is why.
These ladies love to spend time together in the Word, learning from each other and sharing with one another. This sight warms my heart. Seeing the work that God is doing in their lives is one of my favorite things in life.
This is why we are here. Life change. Lives given to the Lord, relationships made personal, faith grown and Christ known in real and intimate ways. Walking alongside these women is an honor. Discipleship is more than teaching Bible study. It’s all about relationship. It’s about coming alongside and living life together, sharing in the details of life and learning to trust one another. It’s about loving our neighbor, loving our friend. And that is why we are here. What a privilege and honor it is to be a part of these ladies’ lives!
